These are the current settings for my Zoom 505 II pedal. The chart is not very useful unless you're me, though it does tell you the pedal has 36 databanks. That means you can configure and save 36 different effect settings in whatever order you want. I can recommend the Zoom to anyone who is looking to buy their first guitar pedal, especially if it's for "hobby recording" purposes. People who are really serious about playing the guitar and/or plan on playing a lot of live gigs probably should avoid it. For me, it's great. It offers a fairly wide variety of sounds, and it improves the signal so that my recordings are better. If you are already a Zoom 505 II owner, you might want to check out this Brazilian page featuring a truckload of settings you can try. I hate the formatting which apparently is standard for these settings, because the various settings are not in the order they appear in on the pedal itself. But just pay attention to what the lists say and you'll figure it out. I've found a lot of good suggestions there. If you arrived here through a search engine, please check out the rest of my site! |
